WISP
For Adobe After Effects
What is it?
Wisp allows you to create 3D trails of particles in Adobe After Effects. With 50 wisp presets, the particles can be used to imitate trails of fire, liquid, smoke, ink, sparks, lightning, bubbles, sand, and a variety of abstract shapes. The wisps can follow any moving layer, and you can customize them with easy-to-use controls.
Animations that are normally difficult and time-consuming are now simple to create in After Effects – like making lightning follow a complex path, writing out text with bleeding ink, or creating a thickening 3D vine. Designed to be flexible and customizable, this tool is certain to help bring your motion graphics and title animations to the next level.

Need to Know
-
This template is compatible with Adobe After Effects, version CS6 and all later versions. Works on both PCs and Macs. No plugins required.
-
Disclaimer: Wisps use the "CC Particle World" effect, which is compatible with 3D camera layers. However, the wisp layers are 2D, and therefore will not interact with other 3D layers. There is a workaround, as demonstrated in the video tutorial, which allows you to make wisps circle around or pass through other 3D layers. This technique requires a little bit of extra work, and is also necessary to make a wisp cross over itself.
-
This template includes comps in both HD (1920x1080) and 4K (4096x2160).
-
Music and footage in the promo video is not included.
-
This template has been "universalized", so it will work in After Effects running in any language.
The Wisp template is not a plugin, so there is nothing to install. Rather, it's an Adobe After Effects project file, commonly known as a "template" because most of the work is already done and the user needs only to make their own customizations. This template is compatible with version CS6 as well as all later versions of After Effects.
